Professional Products now offers both Crosswind and Hurricane models of intake manifolds for both LS1/LS2/LS6 and LS3/L92 engines.
The Crosswind is a dual plane style manifold with a 4150 carburetor pad that can either accept a 4150 style carburetor or a throttle body style fuel injection system. The Crosswind is an air gap version which allows air to freely pass under the plenum chamber which helps cool the intake charge. The Crosswind currently is only available for LS1/LS2/LS6 engines featuring cathedral style intake ports.
The Hurricane comes in two version. Both single plane designs with 4150 inlet pads. One version is similar to the
Crosswind in that it accepts either a carburetor or a throttle body style fuel injection system.
The second version features port injection and requires the use of the Professional Products #10617 Fuel Rail Kit. The Fuel Rail Kit is designed to use either LS1 or LS7 style injectors.
Both Hurricane style manifolds are available for either LS1/LS2/LS6 engines or LS3/L92 engines.
All five different LS manifolds are available in three finishes; polished, satin, or black.
These manifolds are ideal for use on LS engines that have been swapped into earlier vehicles or used in purposebuilt vehicles equipped with an LS style engine.
While similar style manifolds are available from major brands, the Professional Products LS manifolds are of equal or even better quality and at substantially lower prices.
