Typhoon dual plane intake manifolds are engineered to deliver ultimate street performance, combining crisp throttle response with strong top-end power—without sacrificing low-end torque. Perfectly suited for mild to aggressive street cams and upgraded exhaust systems, these cast aluminum intakes perform best in the 1,500–6,500 RPM range.

Designed for serious street machines, bracket racers, and nitrous or supercharged builds, Typhoon manifolds offer performance that rivals many single plane designs while retaining the drivability and responsiveness of a dual plane.

Each manifold features a square bore carburetor flange, cast-in nitrous bosses, water outlets at all four corners, and dual distributor hold-downs. Additional features include a provision for an oil fill tube, compatibility with late-model water necks, A/C, alternators, HEI distributors, and fitment for cast iron Bow Tie and ’87–’95 cast iron or aluminum heads. This version is .70" taller than the #52000 or #52001 and does not support exhaust-heated or stock-style chokes. Non-EGR. Not legal for use on pollution-controlled vehicles.
