Powerforce BB Chevy Dampers

Professional Products provides the broadest line of reasonably priced street dampers available. Our big block Chevy dampers are among the toughest and most reliable dampers in our lineup. We strongly recommend using a damper installation tool as opposed to pounding it on with a hammer. Due to having a larger crankshaft than any other engine, the necessary press fit between the damper and crank is unusually tight. This is true of all big block Chevy dampers.

All Pro/Products Harmonic Dampers for BBC feature 60 degrees of timing marks and machined grooves at TDC and every 90 degrees.

Note that the two BB Chevy Dampers are identical. The only difference is the 454/502 has a bolt-in counterweight and the 396/427 does not.
