Powerforce Pontiac & Olds Dampers

These two engines are still quite popular and Professional Products offers the only reasonably priced dampers for them.

Pontiac Damper:

  • Fits 1961-'79 engines
  • To fit 1961 through 1968, you must use a '69 or later front timing cover, water pump, and related accessories
  • Has stock accessory pulley bolt holes and a big block Chevy bolt pattern
  • Accommodates big block Chevy crank trigger setups
  • Necessary parts available from Year One and Pontiac specialists

Oldsmobile Damper:

  • Fits 330 through 455 V8 engines
  • Externally balanced, but weight can be removed for neutral balance
  • Has stock accessory pulley mounting holes and a big block Chevy pattern to accommodate a Chevy crank trigger wheel
  • 330 engine requires repositioning the TDC mark on the damper
  • Professional Products Oldsmobile damper only fits the late 400 and 425 engines, but fits all 455 CID V8 engines
